Aircraft industry forecasts have swung from wildly optimistic to “gloom and doom” as the past year’s COVID-19 pandemic has squelched commercial air travel significantly and has given pause to business travel. Looking at the business aircraft industry outlook through the eyes of a number of the analysts, the trend points to a recovery in both new aircraft sales and existing aircraft utilization.
